Working with Jessi (she/her)

Jessi works collaboratively with her clients to create a space where they can feel safe enough to stop hiding, even from themselves. With compassion, creativity, humility, and humor she helps clients learn to trust

their intuition and develop their innate capacity to guide their own lives. Jessi uses her expertise in mindfulness, trauma, relational patterns, and the mind-body connection to support clients in deepening their connection to their internal experience as they cultivate skillful and authentic responses, rather than reacting in ways that betray their values and growth. She has a passion for working with adults with relational/complex trauma, grief, cycle breakers, evolving identities, parents, and those in liminal places who are yearning to walk a more authentic path. Jessi has expertise in supporting those navigating the complexity of divorce, acute and chronic health conditions, and those parenting children with multilayered needs. Jessi has a commitment to being an accomplice in anti-racism work and the LGBTQ+ community, working with accountability partners to continue learning and growing. She has experience with polyamory, non-traditional relationship and family styles, and is kink informed.

As an integrative therapist, Jessi draws from extensive training in attachment, trauma, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems therapy, and sand tray therapy, as well as the research-based mind-body practices of polyvagual theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and somatic experiencing.

In addition to her private psychotherapy practice, Jessi has worked as a therapist and mindfulness coordinator at a university counseling center, clinical director in a group therapy practice, personal counselor in an international school, mindfulness and meditation instructor, school-based therapist for marginalized and high-risk students, and in psychiatric hospitals. For many years, Jessi held certification as a Registered Play Therapist & Supervisor and now uses that experience with her clients who are also parents.

When not seeing clients, Jessi can be found reading one of the many books on her nightstand, exploring the outdoors with her two children, snuggling with her two rescue dogs, working in her little garden, and laughing and creating rituals with her friends.
